Economy and Law in Eastern Europe: 129. revision of WiRO by C.H. Beck publishing house

Handbuch Wirtschaft und Recht in Osteuropa (Economy and Law in Eastern Europe, WiRO), is a collective work, the particular revisions of which are regularly published by C.H. Beck publishing house.

Addressed to western investors and others alike, WiRO comes as a guidebook with replaceable pages, which provides information on changes of the economic and legal conditions in the following ten states of Central and Eastern Europe:

The 129. Revision of WiRO includes in part pertaining to Poland a completely new compilation of Chapter D.XIII on the punishability of legal persons, drawn up by Maciej Prusak and Patrycja Hirsch. Save for the general narrative regarding the criminal liability of collective entities, there have been described the types of penal acts covered by the act, proceedings for criminal liability of a collective entity, a list of penalties, and the enforcement proceedings. In part pertaining to the acts, another fragments of the amended Civil Code were published in respect of the provisions on companies, suretyship, conveyance of a land property, securities and succession law.
