CEE Legal Matters: BSJP advised Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen on real estate refinancing

CEE Legal Matters reports that in March 2017, CPI Property Group closed a massive acquisition of properties incl. 11 shopping centres located in Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Hungary. The EUR 650 million portfolio was acquired from two investment funds managed by CBRE Global Investors. 

The portfolio with the total leasable area of approx. 265 thousand square meters consists of, amongst others, shopping centres Ogrody in Poland, Olympia Plzeň and Nisa Liberec in the Czech Republic, Polus and Campona in Hungary and Felicia in Romania. 

As a part of the transaction, BSJP Brockhuis Brockhuis Jurczak Prusak advised Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen on refinancing of the Polish part of the deal. 

The team in Poland was led by Katarzyna Domańska-Mołdawa, partner and attorney at BSJP. Katarzyna specializes in real estate financing and loan collaterals. She worked for numerous German and international investment funds and banks.
