BSJP's tax experts discuss succession management

The Act on succession management enables to carry on with business activity after the death of its owner. Legal solutions make it possible to settle inheritance matters and settlements with the tax office without the necessity of closing down the enterprise. Jacek Bajson, tax advisor, and Patrycja Zdanowicz-Pastuszak, tax advisor and legal counsel, discuss in Doradca Podatkowy the main assumptions of the Act and the appointment and competences of a succession manager.

The article discusses in detail tax issues and amendments to other provisions, which have been implemented upon entry into force of the Act on succession management. The article also contains an overview of the so-called conservatory measures that the legal successors should follow after the entrepreneur's death.
